Press Release Summary = Cheaper and easier public transport on offer to new and
returning students

Press Release Body = Students looking for a cheap and easy way to get around town
from the start of the new term are being offered a way to join up their bus and
train journeys with a scheme called PLUSBUS.

The scheme provides students with unlimited local bus travel when they buy a PLUSBUS
ticket in addition to their train travel.

For students who are regularly travelling by train and bus PLUSBUS offers them a way
to save money with some tickets priced as low as £1. Students who have a railcard
can also save one-third off the cost of their PLUSBUS ticket.

All bus trips for the rest of the day in the local zone are free and all students
have to do is show their PLUSBUS ticket when they get on the bus.

Jonathan Radley, Journey Solutions' Commercial Director said: "PLUSBUS is a cheap
and convenient alternative for students' travel and makes it easy to buy all your
travel at one time. It's a great way to get around the area you are studying in or
to explore nearby towns and cities. Because it's great value and convenient, PLUSBUS
is the perfect solution for students."

The scheme means students who travel by train and bus to University don't have to
worry about trying to find a parking spot, having to walk from the train station or
finding change for the bus.

PLUSBUS tickets are also valid until 2am the day after train travel enabling them to
get home safely after a night out.

More than 200 areas across Britain are covered by PLUSBUS, allowing students
travelling home to visit friends or family to get around their home town or city.

PLUSBUS tickets can either be bought on the day of travel or in advance. PLUSBUS
season tickets are also available to add to train season tickets of a week, a month,
three months or even a year's duration.

PLUSBUS is designed to make it easier to join up bus and train journeys and is only
available when students buy a train ticket.
